Conan O'Brien is returning to television but he will not be doing so on a network channel, he is coming back on cable. O'Brien has agreed to star in a late night show on TBS during the 11 o'clock time slot. O'Brien will be followed at 12 o'clock with The George Lopez show.

I'm personally really excited to hear that Conan will be back on late night television. I find him to be the funniest of the late night hosts by far. His joke delivery seems the most natural to me. I really wouldn't have expected TBS to be the station to pick him up, but I'm glad that someone did.

I think George Lopez handled moving back a time slot very classy. He stated that he would be more than happy to follow Conan, and I thought that he was being a good sport. I also thought Conan was respectful, and make it clear he did not want any bad feelings between eachother. I was also surprised to see TBS was the station to pick him up.
