Apparently, we've been paying lower taxes as of most recently, due to the fact that "Congress cut individuals' federal taxes for this year by about $173 billion." Most of us would say that we couldn't feel it, but with the recovery now in full swing, the federal government is taking steps to ensure we can get up, dust ourselves off, and begin rebuilding financially.
